We're Hiring a PR Account Manager

Coates Kokes is looking for a PR account manager to work on media relations and social media for an engaging collection of green, hospitality and health-promoting clients. Experience with generating regional and national media coverage a must. Essential components of the job: attention to detail, strategic thinker and team player.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day accounts
- Writing media materials, including researching and developing story ideas
- Playing an integral role in the strategic PR planning process
- Developing and maintaining media lists, including traditional and online
- Conducting media outreach, developing strong media relationships
- Planning and executing social media
- Maintaining reports, recaps, timelines and budgets
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of national media relations and agency experience
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field
- Superior writing skills, including knowledge of AP style
